The drafting committee of the Lokpal Bill met for the first time in New Delhi today, exactly a week after social activist Anna Hazare ended his four-day hunger strike after the government gave in to most of his demands. The next meeting will take place on May 2.
"The meeting of was fruitful, everyone contributed. We all want that the Lokpal Bill be passed in the Monsoon Session," Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal said after the meeting got over.
